At Pricels, our approach to celebrating our Women In Tech is distinct. Instead of traditional forms of celebration, we take pride in fostering an inclusive and empowering work culture where women in the tech industry thrive organically. We recognize that celebrating their accomplishments isn't limited to a single event or token gestures; it's an everyday process which applies to all associates where we ensure that everyone has equal opportunities, a voice at the table, and a supportive community.
When we decided to become the Gold Sponsor for the Women In Tech Dreamin event, we wanted to talk about the Women in Pricels. We wanted to project how we support Women in Tech – but we drew a blank. It was difficult to quantify what we do specifically for Women. It took a few minutes of discussion to figure this out.
We came to the conclusion that the best way to celebrate equality is to celebrate everyone on equal footing. There is no delineation based on gender or experience or culture. We are a small organisation and are yet to experience a more diversified organisation. While that will happen organically, we pride ourselves in creating a cohesive work environment where there are ample opportunities to present opinions, where people respect each other for who they are and everyone is encouraged to follow their passion and strive for improvement in their chosen field of work without any organisational pressures.
In essence, we celebrate the Women in Tech by providing a collaborative work environment, mentorship programs, professional development initiatives, and help everyone reach their potential and make an impact in this tech world – and our team loves this.
